Glad it's behind you, babe. Hope the recovery is smooth and quick and the pain equally so.

What is that supposed to mean?

Is it as in Urban dictionary: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.p ... ace-holder

Why do you write obscure things that only you understand? :P

65p in every £1 of take home pay I earn at my minimum wage zero hours contract job is taken from me - 0.005% of the profits Apple made in Ireland in 2014 was taken in corporate tax. LOLZ this paradigm is beyond a joke

My jeep had a flat tire this morning, which served as a handy reminder that soon I shall have to shell out close to $1,000 for a new set of winter tires. Also need to buy winter tires for my Camry. Gotta love when your tires all need replacing at the same time.

I don't like not being active

Worst part.

I lost a very close actor friend this week. Her loss diminishes our stages and our lives, in theatre and mine, personally.

3 bouts with breast cancer...strong till the end....I loved working with such a dynamic, yet watch her nurture newbies.......amazing woman....

Why does nobody ever do what they say they'll do these days?

You email and call dozens of times over something that should be straightforward, that is their job to implement, and they palm you off with a, "yeah, I'll get right on that"

Two weeks later it's still not done.

It wouldn't be too much of a problem, except, now everybody is doing it.

Fedex seems to take the most convoluted route possible to ship a package. I'll stick to UPS or USPS from now on.

Yeah, don't worry that I just spent £10 and three hours (again) travelling in to the office because you weren't responding to my emails (again). Don't worry that I'm meant to be starting back in a week and I don't have a timetable or any information as to what I'm meant to be doing. Don't worry that you still haven't re-registered me and that my financial support depends on that. Don't worry that you haven't provided any communication or added me to the mailing lists I'm supposed to subscribed to.

I mean, it's not like it's your JOB or anything  f*cking hate them

I'm innocent I tell ya!

My rant today when you tear apart your vehicle to fix a part, then find another part that is obviously in need of replacement as well, but the local parts shop isn't open until Monday... Working on my jeep last night, I may have invented some new swear words.

I enjoy learning how to do new things, and I find mechanic work kind of therapeutic, but when nothing seems to work right while doing it I end up hating it. Of course once it's all done, I will be able to laugh about it and have a story to tell with buddies whenever we discuss car problems. It seems when we swap mechanic horror stories, we all try to one up each other with harder repairs.

I remember singing for a friends wedding and our General Manager at the CC was there

He came up to me after and said, "Babe, I couldn't believe it when I heard you sing. It was like an angel was singing. You looked like an angel, and you sounded like and angel, and then I remembered how many times I heard you say fuck."

I'm still not finished with my jeep. Parts are proving more uncooperative than predicted. I've already had to grind off a few pieces. The drill is what's next for the one part.

Thanks babe! I just like to be able to learn new things in other areas, and I figure mechanic work is a useful skill to have.

My Dad was like that then again he fixed B-52 and F12' et al.

It is a wonderful skill to have.

So long, democracy!

National government are forcing fracking on a Lancashire local community and council that have rejected the proposal, outright, multiple times.

Government is a pile of $@!^

Why should I move every time the government inflicts misery on the local community? Should everybody in Lancashire who disagrees with fracking move? So most of the region should move? You think that's reasonable?

You dont like the government you have but have done little to nothing that I can see to change said government. Also you default assume ALL government is corrupt and evil. so move.

If Sarah Palin can see Russia from her porch, I guess you can see Lancashire from Eastern Washington! And know Rory's precise state of political activism?
Not to mention that someone has ranted in the rant corner and you've responded with a right-wingy schoolyard taunt, good job.
So how about you move to Hanford? Not the town, the facility. I hear there is still some old equipment in some of the store rooms, you could use it for furniture and live in the storeroom. I wouldn't eat directly off any of the surfaces though.
