this is an interesting article about a potential novel use of robots : care of the elderly

Indeed. The comments about Japan already having these types of assistance robots in thousands of homes is exactly where my thoughts first went upon opening your thread. Another potentially interesting angle to explore is how nano-robots will affect the wellbeing of aging humans...
