Is there actually anywhere you can learn about sexual intercourse in an above-board way that won't destroy your search history?

Like a halfway point between a sex ed video and a Cosmo article?

There are organisations available that will offer confidential advice, we have them come into our college regularly for the students to speak to them. They seem to be mainly aimed at teenagers but if you got in touch with one local to you I'm sure they could answer any questions.

There are Human Sexuality text books that cover some pretty normal interactions and issues.

If you want more of a fun way of looking into it, there is Love Line -- a talk show that used to air on the radio. http://www.lovelineshow.com/ (podcasts)

As well as Savage Lovecast. (podcasts)

Adults care about their search histories? Didn't know... Seriously though, if you don't feel comfortable with something in your search history just use an incognito tab. If I knew any good sources, I would post it here. Also just want to point out that porn is not a good place to learn about sex. It's made to look good on camera or to provide certain camera angles, not to provide the entertainers with enjoyment.

I don't watch porn! Never have and (probably) never will.

iNow's links look useful. I just want to know how to do something.

Not saying you do watch it. Although I don't see any reason to be embarrassed by it. I think buzzfeed has done some interviews with pornstars (nothing gross is shown) where they discuss proper techniques for different things. Unilad posted the video on facebook at one point IIRC. It's pretty safe for work, they might swear in it though.

I agree. Strikes me as unhealthy. Repression like that leads to unfortunate neuroses.

A couple good online resources:

Planned Parenthood is some good online education material: https://www.plannedparenthood.org/learn/sexuality

Kinsey has a science based site for a wide range of sex subjects:
https://kinseyconfidential.org/

--

Think most porn is pretty harmless if one keeps in mind much of it is by paid models and don't take a ruler out--or just watch the amateur materials for more realistic body types.
