What do you people think?
Another in the continuing saga of NASA propulsion programs since the shuttle development in the 1970's and early 80's. None of them have produced anything useful, and this one won't either.
This keeps the worst pof the Constellation program, the capsule that accounted for the lion's share of cost overruns and schedule slips, and replaces known propulsion technology with fantasies and cartoons.
The U.S. manned space program is dead. This is just another nail in the coffin.
Note: Contrary to the PR hype, NASA does not design and is not capable of designing rockets. That work is done by private industry, under contrqact, and thank God for that since it is there that the expertise resides.
