Recent news in science. Post your links to news articles here but keep quotes brief. The rule-of-thumb should be at least as much of your own commentary as is quoted and don't quote more than a paragraph or two. Google “fair use” for additional guidelines.

Those ideas and hypotheses considered outside of today's mainstream science for various reasons. This might include insufficient technology or focus for proper study or merely being contrary to existing conclusions & accepted understandings. This forum distinguishes itself from Pseudoscience through the expectation that posters will provide requisite empirical evidence, supporting theory, and include mathematics and/or citations to legitimate literature to support their proposals.

Discussions can include how best to recognize, deal with, and combat these notions.
